The Boy Behind The Movement

The AVN Strong Foundation was established in loving memory of Avn Kobe Sye. Avn lived with cerebral palsy and inspired everyone around him through his strength, resilience, and unconditional love.

After Avn passed away following a tragic breathing incident during his sleep, his family made the decision to transform their grief into purpose. Today, the Foundation carries forward Avn's legacy by supporting children with complex medical needs and the families who dedicate their lives to caring for them.

"Avn Strong is more than a foundation — it's a promise that no family walks this journey alone."

Ray G is an international touring DJ who has performed alongside artists including Cardi B and Offset — but nothing has moved him like being Avn's father. After Avn passed away following a tragic breathing incident during his sleep, Ray made the decision to turn his family's grief into purpose.

Today he's channeling the same energy he brings to the world's biggest stages into building a foundation that shows up for families of children with complex medical needs — starting with AVN Strong Weekend.

The AVN Strong Foundation exists to honor the life and legacy of Avn Kobe Sye by supporting children with cerebral palsy and complex medical needs, while providing resources, hope, and assistance to the families who care for them. Through advocacy, financial support, community outreach, and caregiver empowerment, we strive to ensure that no family walks their journey alone.
